Located in the heart of San Diego’s lively and historic downtown Gaslamp Quarter, the iconic US Grant Hotel was originally constructed at the turn of the 20th century, making it a State of California historic landmark.  The renovation of the US Grant Hotel features 270 luxurious guestrooms and 47 suites that are modern and elegant.  Guests are presented with a glimpse of the hotel’s past via historical touches combined with contemporary comforts and state-of-the-art amenities.   Other guest offerings include a grand lobby, meeting rooms and an art-deco style restaurant, bar and lounge.

JCJ was commissioned to perform significant renovations to the hotel to preserve its character and ensure its continued legacy. From replacing the HVAC systems, electrical systems, and fixtures to a complete remodel of the interior spaces and guestrooms, the renovation has brought the hotel to a new standard. Starwood has placed the US Grant Hotel in its Luxury Collection of properties.
