JCJ Architecture is campus architect for this 147-year old independent high school. Having developed the comprehensive facilities Master Plan for the school, JCJ is now at work on a variety of phased site and building improvement projects.
The initial construction phase includes installation of a campus wide waste water treatment facility and renovation of a dormitory and a classroom building. The next phase will be a new campus center building to accommodate 14 classrooms, faculty and administrative offices and a commons. The Campus Center will become the school’s new “front door” and includes a viewing balcony that will overlook both playfields and an outdoor amphitheater. The amphitheater will be usedfor casual gatherings, performances and graduation ceremonies. Future phases predict additional building renovations and a new 48 bed dormitory.
