JCJ provided services for a multi-phase capital investment program designed to bring this historic grand hotel and ski resort property up to all applicable code and life safety standards. JCJ was careful to tread lightly around the historic elements of this National Register property and also developed a comprehensive infrastructure master plan.

Phase 1 architectural work included renovations in the Dixville House that addressed the Ballroom, Captain’s Study, Wood Room (game and billiard rooms,) Ballot Room, Sunroom, Boardroom, connecting corridors, Hampshire House Theatre, Children’s Activity Center, exercise room and salon. The scope of these renovations included all architectural and engineering modifications, new exiting requirements and new FF&E.

In Phase 2, JCJ developed model guest rooms and completed renovations to approximately 50 guestrooms in the Hampshire House. The revitalized interiors maintain the traditional elegance of the resort combined with the comfort of a New Hampshire home.
