This new Arts and Media School replaces the City’s existing Lincoln Middle School and provides a dynamic and visually exciting environment for education and self expression. The new building was constructed on the site of the existing school, in a build new/tear down scenario.
The design borrows from the plan and ideas of “Times Square” in New York City to create an indoor street environment associated with the arts and performance theme of the curriculum. The school theater can accommodate the entire student body and is located directly off the School's main lobby. Other core facilities include a cafeteria, gymnasium, media center and state-of-the-art classrooms.
