JCJ focused on providing outstanding experiences for travelers, maintaining a high degree of budget and schedule certainty and implementing projects within tightly regulated environments.
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport
Part of DFW's $1.2 billion expansion included the unveiling of a new terminal. JCJ provided architectural and interior design services for several national food and beverage brands in the new terminal’s Marché Food Court, including Railhead Smokehouse BBQ, Fuddruckers, 360° Gourmet Burrito and Einstein Bros.
Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport
JCJ Architecture provided design development and construction documents to help create this airport's award-winning concession program. Retail brands include Everything ASAP and the CNN News Store.
Nashville International Airport
Work included concept design of O'Charley's for a 2,000 square foot restaurant space and adaptation of La Hacienda's unique restaurant design to suit the particular needs of a high-traffic airport concession.
Newark Liberty International Airport
Working closely with the vendors to create quick service dining experiences, JCJ's design solution helps them meet all customer expectations. Our scope of work included The Stylish Paw, She-Chic Boutique, Jake's Coffeehouse and Vito's Gourmet Deli and Market.
JCJ's general scope of work included:
• Adapting franchise and independent restaurant owners' concepts into airport dining establishments.
• Assisting DNC in the development of original restaurant concepts.
• Coordinating with DNC and airport representatives to ensure that projects adhered to the strict design criteria of each airport.
• Assisting DNC in the creation of proposals, concept development and renderings in response to airport RFPs.
• Providing design services from concept through contract administration.
